The location of these pictures are mostly of the school and different areas around our school. For example, in picture two, I photographed the trash cans by the bus stops. In the photos I took, I tried to vary the background and composition as much as possible. In picture one, the camera is very close to the brick wall which creates a focus the bricks and blurs the walls and things in the background. The point of view of photo one was at an angle. This was also taken horizontally. The rule of thirds was used in most of my pictures. In picture 4, the focus of the picture is the handle of the wardrobe and this is amplified by the rule of thirds. Picture 4 successfully leads the viewers eye through the picture with its curves and lines that lead to the focus of the picture, the handle
Patterns and Texture
The photo that best exemplifies pattern and texture is the first photo of the piano. The photo is taken from a fairly close. It is taken at a high angle to get a really good view of inside the piano itself. The photo is in a horizontal frame. It does describe the rule of thirds because the focus of the photo is the piano hammers which are on the right hand third of the picture. This photo is a great example of pattern and texture because it demonstrates the repeated patters of the piano keys. It also has a very dusty or sawdust feel to it because of the residue on the inside.
